Reviews and Ratings
The hotel truly offers a unique and cozy Alpine feel, standing out with its beautifully remodeled and immaculately clean rooms. The location is excellent, conveniently close to the Hauptbahnhof with great access to S-bahn and buses. However, some might find the surrounding area a bit dodgy and ventilation could be an issue.
The hotel was overall comfortable and had friendly service, but the rooms could get loud at times and were warm without air conditioning. It's conveniently located near the train station, making it suitable for travelers with heavy luggage but not the most family-friendly area.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very clean and looked modern and stylish, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the photos online, but they could use some restyling and upgrades to capture the true essence of ALPEN. The service was fair with some helpful and kind staff, while others were less accommodating. The location was convenient, being near the main train station and within walking distance to key attractions, although the area seemed a bit shady at times. The dining options were good with plenty of choices, especially when the weather was nice, but the hours could be improved. Overall, a decent stay with both positives and negatives.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, but the AC can be a bit confusing. Despite being overly cold even with the heater turned up, the rooms were initially quite pleasant. The service was helpful and friendly, offering assistance with local attractions. The location, while not ideal for families, is close to the central station and offers easy access to the city center. The dining experience was fantastic, with a wide variety of food options. The facilities are convenient, catering to guests' needs efficiently.
I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a friendly staff, but the room could get quite hot during the day due to the need to open the windows for ventilation. The noise from the street at night made it tricky to keep them open, affecting the overall comfort of the stay.
